Excellence in Writing Co-ops

Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW): Students will learn the structure and style of excellent writing. Using an incremental approach, this program teaches not just what to write, but how to write by providing the student with practical writing tools which can be used for constructing a variety of written works. Between co-op meetings, students will have writing assignments to be completed at home, particularly at the upper levels.

5th – 8th Level B Introduction: A stand-alone introduction to the IEW program in and of itself for the older child, participants will learn the essential elements of structure and style.

7th – 9th Level B Continuation Course Year 2:  For the student who has previously completed Level B Continuation Course Year 2

8th – 12th Level C Continuation Course Year 1: For the high school student who has completed Level C Intro or its equivalent, this course picks up where level C Intro leaves and advances writing strength, expanding on previous learning and introducing new tools for excellent writing.
